Tired of wasting time looking look through and re-sorting all of your notes on Google Keep?
With Category Tabs for Google Keep™, you can now sort your new and existing notes by category. Each category represents one color. Adding a note to a category is very easy, just change the color of the note. When you want to view the notes you have sorted by color, simply click on the note color you wish to view. If you would like to view your you entire collection of notes/checklists, there is an “All” option next to the color options (this option is set by default).
Category Tabs for Google Keep™ seamlessly integrates into the page and the options to look at your notes/checklists in list view or gird view is still available. The ability to post a quick note/list/picture is still available as well and is still placed in the same spot as it usually is. This application supports all the colors offered by Google Keep.
You can access the settings by opening the menu in google keep, and hit "Customize Categories"

Great idea but colors are buggy. For example, I click on teal as the color and I get all of my yellow notes...and similar issues. Please fix, I LOVE google keep and this would be so helpful if it worked.
Completely useless IF: - I cannot move the notes I've already created from "ALL" to "another category" (I've tried to drawn them but nothing happened) - I cannot access the categories from my mobile device. In this way, if I create a new note on my phone, how can I move it to a category in Chrome?!
Some colours work. Orange + Red do not work on my machine. Change to blue, note moves.. change to orange nothing.. change to clear.. nothing. change to yellow nothing.. change to grey and it moves. would be good but its hit and miss :( (Using Linux + Chrome41, google keep as a webtab not app).

The Yellow and Orange tabs do not work and are wrongly recognized as the blank tab. Apart from that the extension does its job.
Like. But the update removed the categories options. Needs fixing...used heavily

not really useable. web access via pc sometimes shows up a category in filter, sometimes not even after repeated changes to color. good idea, not good execution.
Please fix yellow and orange colors
Why doesn't this show up on chrome toolbar extension. I can't get this to show on toolbar. I cant show Google Keep extension as well. Please fix it.
