Dark Mode is an extension that helps you quickly turn the screen (browser) to dark at night time.
Toolbar button serves as an ON|OFF switch which enables you to easily and quickly turn the extension ON or OFF. If you do not like the current dark theme, please visit the options page and choose a different theme from over 50 available options.
There is also a white-list feature which enables you to exclude a desired domain from dark mode. Simply add a domain(s) to the designated area (comma separated) in the options page and the websites will be excluded from night mode. Alternatively, you can use the context-menu item in mouse right-click to exclude desired websites.

I tried 5 different sites and it didn't work, including this chrome web site. It worked on wikipedia but it's not worth it for 1 or 2 sites.
it dosen't change theme from light to dark in evry website i open.
This app is fantastic! It works quickly, adapts seamlessly, and offers a smooth experience. The low-light effect is especially helpful for reducing strain on the eyes. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for efficiency and comfort!
V základním nastavení jsem nebyl úplně spokojený. Pak stačilo změnit dvě volby a paráda. - vypnout Dark Theme for Facebook (I. Classic Themes) - zapnout Add dark mode to the documents root instead of the head (II. Options)
Turn it on. Open an email in gmail. The email is bright white. Open Google search, or a newspaper site. The page is bright white. This does not help. We need an extension that allows us to select the background color so that it is NOT piercing, pain-inducing white.
My most useful, sophisticated, customizable darkening extension. Unfortunately - since about a month or two - it developed a lag (you have to wait for the darkening to take effect) that makes it unusable for me. I am leaving my rating at 5 stars to honor how perfect this extension has been for me for so long and in the hope that its developer will be able to correct this problem.

It does what it says, for the most part. However one feature missing - at least for me - is a way to either blacklist or specifically whitelist websites for this. Instead, you can either toggle it on or off for the entire web. But some pages just don't work well (or at all) using this.
I have a problem where after deleting this extension, images and content on other websites are all photo negative? When I reinstall and toggle on the extension the photos go back to normal but now the text is negative, don't know how to revert my browser back to normal
