Version 1.2.0 adds dark mode support.
Version 1.3.0's only change is to use manifest_version 3. For this extension, this does not affect behavior at all. The change is required to keep the extension listed in Chrome Web Store.

Thank you. No idea why Google or other browsers want to add unneccessary trash so badly. When for me, an empty new tab page is all I ever wanted.
I'm using this on M.S. Edge, and it's perfect. I cannot believe it took more than an year trying all other workarounds for this sh*ty browsers' behavior on new tabs, until I could finally try this extension. In fact I was refusing to accept that I had to install a extension to be able to do a freaking simple thing: display a blank page. Gosh! This is absolutely ridiculous. I tried customising the new tab, tweaking the browser folders and files, removing the most elements I could, blocking domains on hosts. Nothing could be as simple and fast as a plain blank page. This extension simply does it. EDIT: As os June 2025, it no longer works in Private Mode of M.S. Edge.

10/10 contains no unblockable promotions for Google hardware.

Great extension! One feature request: I'd prefer a blank favicon to the current white box (it is quite noticeable on dark mode)
