Version 1.2.0 adds dark mode support.
Version 1.3.0's only change is to use manifest_version 3. For this extension, this does not affect behavior at all. The change is required to keep the extension listed in Chrome Web Store.

thank you for this. chrome://new-tab-page-third-party/ has been very annoying. i can't fathom how chromium developers can find taking keyboard focus away from the address bar of a new tab after 1 second of opening one anywhere close to acceptable
THANK YOU! For someone with very bad chronic migraines, photophobia and nerve issues the standard white flash that Brave tries to burn your retinas with on a new window and new tab open is extremely irritating, i'm surprised this isn't just a standard option with Brave but this extension is actually a life saver for me, thank you so much to the developer/s, bless.

Here because Google has started putting ads on Chrome's default page. Do No Evil? Firefox is starting to look tempting.... Anyway, the extension would be better if it included a configurable dark mode. All white is headache inducing. I'm using Linux, not Windows, so the current dark functionality doesn't work for me. Even better would be retaining the theme, but I understand that might be technically difficult.
