Version 1.2.0 adds dark mode support.
Version 1.3.0's only change is to use manifest_version 3. For this extension, this does not affect behavior at all. The change is required to keep the extension listed in Chrome Web Store.

I'm astonished that Google won't let you turn off the recent/frequent thumbnails in a new window/tab. That's a case of identity theft just waiting to happen. Fortunately this solves the problem. Thanks!
This extension is great! I use Chrome for work, and since the new update that forces you to display your most recent/frequent websites, this extension is a must-have. This lets me open up a new window when I have someone looking over my shoulder without flashing a screenshot of my bank account and Facebook page.

Leave it to Google to break the simplicity of their browser. And leave it to a creative individual to remedy it. Nice plugin.
The Chrome New Tab Page shows the most often visited site, and I hate this feature. Finally I found a solution here.
