Version 1.2.0 adds dark mode support.
Version 1.3.0's only change is to use manifest_version 3. For this extension, this does not affect behavior at all. The change is required to keep the extension listed in Chrome Web Store.

Almost did what I wanted. I want new tab or new page to give me a blank page *with* the bookmarks bar. I have Always Show Bookmarks Bar off. I want to leave it off, so that I only see it for blank page. That's the way it was until Chrome starting shoving google.com down my throat. I would like for this or some other extension to give me a blank page with the bookmarks bar.
just what Chrome needs. I nice clean slate for a nice new tab, none of this most visited or apps BS
works as stated. Been looking for something like this since google removed new tab settings long ago.
I don want to see my last pages in new tab, it's some time is private. So it's Empty New Tab Page awesome and helpfully.
Perfect, and easy, best fix for the new version of Chrome.
