Version 1.2.0 adds dark mode support.
Version 1.3.0's only change is to use manifest_version 3. For this extension, this does not affect behavior at all. The change is required to keep the extension listed in Chrome Web Store.

Always hated the stupid icons on the new tab page from Chrome - they are worthless - empty is the way to go!
Really good extension! Thank you for creating it! But... untill the last update it was perfect. But now I can see that you've added a favicon. Please remove it, as it ruins the minimalistic experience;)

You can edit the following file to change the title of the New Tab to whatever you want: C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions\dpjamkmjmigaoobjbekmfgabipmfilij\1.1_0\empty_ntp
