Version 1.2.0 adds dark mode support.
Version 1.3.0's only change is to use manifest_version 3. For this extension, this does not affect behavior at all. The change is required to keep the extension listed in Chrome Web Store.

Chrome just broke it, it doesn't select the about:blank by default anymore so you have to manually select it before you can enter your own text.

It would be perfect if we could set the new tab in Dark mode without having to change Windows 10 itself to Dark mode.
Works perfectly! Wish you could remove shortcuts without an additional extension!
It's great not having thumbnail shortcuts. Google search engine is useful though. I'd like to see a customize-able "white tab" (e.g. white tab, no shortcuts, default setting: url:google.com). If I had that I'd easily give it a 5 star review.
Just simple and amazing
Why on the Earth I hadn’t installed this Chrome’s extension before? Now my window is a complete zen! No monkeypoops, nothing, real blank page!
