Where have my saved sessions gone? How do I even use this thing? I'm staring at a blank screen with the new logo icon at the top left and nothing else???
Useful extension but latest update makes ui/user experience worse requiring more clicks to do simple things that only required 1-click in previous version(eg, open link, delete, open saved group)
New 2024 version is very bad!. Looking for alternatives so I can remove it.
I love this app, but Whoever thought making COMMAND B a shortcut for it is SMOKING CRACK. I do not like having this pop up while I'm taking notes in a client meeting trying to boldface my text. Please please fix this in future updates. Otherwise I love the app and use it all the time for web scraping!! <3<3<3
Das neue v4-Update ist purer Schrott.
-Outdated- Was an excellent extension for managing browser sessions, but the recent update (although necessary) lacks a lot of features. I hope they will soon add and fix some of the current issues, such as the lackluster UI and inability to simply click to delete tabs and overwrite an existing saved session with current session. ----------- EDIT: Newest version updated and fixed a lot of these features and improved session buddy massively! Now things work significantly better. Nearly all of my previous complaints are gone, and some of the new quality of life features make my life even easier. Takes a little getting used to compared to the old version, but it's much easier to work with and allows you to do a lot more. This was a great update, and unfortunately, due to the circumstances of the prior update, people are overlooking these newer changes that rectified nearly all issues people were having. ----------- I tend to build up large numbers of tabs when working, and depending on what I'm doing, it's not uncommon to have 8+ separate windows all with their own set of related tabs, sometimes numbering into the hundreds. With session buddy, it's very easy for me to save, sort, and modify sets of tabs/windows to easily open and close all the tabs I need when I need them. If I lose power, or accidentally close a tab with a specific hard to find resource, it is easy to restore it using my saved collections, or session history snapshots. Instead of having 8+ windows with 400+ tabs open all the time, massively bogging down my computer and wasting resources, I can keep two or three windows that I'm actively working with, and swap them around as needed. For example, while working, I can have my main set of windows with all my main daily driver tabs open, and have another collection specifically dedicated to a particular project. When I'm not actively working on a particular project, I can save the set of windows/tabs related to that project to a collection, and close them out. If I start working on that project again at a future date, it is very easy to open the related collection again, and continue from where I left off. Very useful for development, references, or even just for gaming.
la "nueva" versión NO SIRVE, era mejor la anterior. REGRESEN A LA ANTERIOR O TENDRÉ QUE BUSCAR OTRA OPCIÓN !!!
Haven't tried the new version yet other than noticing it makes the silly mistake of taking over the ⌘+B (command-B) shortcut, which should be reserved for bolding text, of course. To disable this manually, go to chrome://extensions/shortcuts, find Session Buddy, and change the "Activate the extension" shortcut to something else, like ⇧⌘B (shift-command-B).
При обновлении слетала вся история, спасибо нах...!
