Haha what a HORRIBLE update. Never have i experienced anything like this. WHAT a setback. Just give us an easy option to go back pls. 1 star until you listen to your users
Absolutely horrific update. Used to be a great app and i dont know what convinced the devs to update it to this version.
Session Buddy has been working fantastic for years, it has really elevated my browser experience. Suddenly, however, more than half of my saved tabs/sessions just... won't open. There is a nondescript error, but its listed solution does not solve the problem. Good example of a well-intentioned overhaul hosing important functionality - a shame.
Use to be a solid 5 stars. Great intuitive interface. Easy to manage (browse, save, delete) many sessions. 2024 update is cumbersome to use- Session buddy seems to have gone for the "more clicks is more better" UX. The UI is less intuitive, and requires extra clicks to navigate through everything. It used to be easy to manage historical 'sessions', now it requires a few extra clicks when I want to open or delete a session. All session were on the left. You would select your session and could quickly delete it. Now you must click a button to open History, click the 3 dots at the top of the list, and select Delete.
New upadte is just horrible. Now app is completely unusable. I have to click on each individual event in the history to see what tabs are there :/
Was a very wonderful extension, then recently there was an update that destroyed all useful functionality. The thing is just a dead piece of junk now. Why would you do this? I just want the old working app back.
I had rebooted my machine and when I returned to restore my tabs with Session Buddy...nothing. I had tabs saved from years ago. I thought I was cooked. After resuscitating myself, I did a little checking. Lo and behold...! EVERYTHING IS STILL AVAILABLE BY CLICKING ON THE " HISTORY" TAB ON THE RIGHT-HAND SIDE OF THE PAGE. ONCE YOU GET THE DROP-DOWN, YOU WILL HAVE TO SCROLL DOWN TO FIND THE SESSION DATE THAT YOU WANT TO REVIEW. I apologize for my prior rant. All is well.
I've seen bad updates, but my god, this takes the cake. The greatest feature, the ability to search multiple sessions at one time, 50, 100, or more, is gone. Now if you are looking for something from a past session, this can only be done one session at a time. I have no idea why somebody thought removing that feature was a good idea. v 4.0.3
Where did my old saved tabs go? They're all missing now! That's thousands of hours of work, just, disappeared!
