The extension interfere with CMD+B which is a very common shortcut for example in Google Docs. Disabled it for that reason, if not fixed, will uninstall. You cannot hijack such important shortcuts for your extension, no offense.

Hey there. I was among the number of displeased reviewers, and I'm sorry. This is to apologize and to offer a couple of suggestions for implementing the features you wanted to add in a way that users might not find to be obstructive, and indeed might actually be a great improvement, which I think is what you were envisioning with v4. I get why you'd want to implement changes you thought might improve the extension, especially since Google is slated to be breaking things for it in the near future. I could get used to the new design, even if it's less visually appealing. The history thing, OK, yeah, I kind of get why the snapshots might help, but it's far too restrictive, and it is buried. It feels like there's a better way to do it, and that would be to use the classic history setup, but tracking changes as well—like, have a "see closed tabs" button underneath when the session is pulled up that simply contains the tabs that weren't open at the end of that session. Easy as pie, doesn't require 240 times as much disk space, and is intuitive. As well, next to tabs that had previously used different URLs, have a little icon that users can click that will show them the history of that tab (like what you see when you click and hold the back/forward buttons in the top left of the browser navigation panel). I think if you implement these ideas, you'll have accomplished the improvements you were shooting for, but with much improved usability compared to the current implementation. The search function should definitely be reverted. It doesn't make sense to have to hit enter. If you're trying to recall what you're looking for, a live filtering works much better. That would be ideal. It used to be really good, so using the original as a guide would be a good idea. Apologies again. It was just so baffling that this could possibly happen. It was like, *the* quintessentially perfect extension. Possibly the best I've ever encountered since browser extensions first appeared in this world—and without doubt the best of its class. After cooling down, I believe in you again. You just have to listen to the feedback (ignoring the *tone* of much of it, perhaps) and reincorporate the features you removed, and fix the questionable decisions like the snapshots. I would urge you to seriously consider the above idea, assuming it's possible, because that would seem to be the ideal means of incorporating the new features. But it's gotta be in the left panel. Like, the major selling point of Session Buddy was that you could recover sessions after a crash, so burying them like that was a real head-scratcher. Personally, I still think you should open the source to public view and collaboration. The project might wind up getting more donations and you'd be much less burdened by taking it all on by yourself. There are thousands of brilliant people out there interested in building good and trustworthy software, and SB deserves their love. It would also likely prevent similar debacles moving forward, given that the decision-making would be more democratised. Thank you for your work up to this point. I am going to trust that you're hearing the feedback and are planning to restore the extension to the buddy we have all come to love. <3 And…forgive them, they know not what they do. Not to get religious, just a turn of phrase. Modern society makes it easy to forget the person on the other side of the screen. Please understand that this response has actually been a HUGE compliment to your work preceding this update—something over a million people have found indispensable was threatened, and they got scared that their buddy was going away. It is a testament to the ingenious idea you had (or at least the ingenious implementation of an idea that already existed), and I think everyone will forgive you for the mistake of removing functionality and breaking/burying/deprecating the most important features, so long as you restore them.
