This extension will make ChatGPT your default search engine in Chrome. Once ChatGPT has been set as your default search engine, you can search directly via your browser URL bar.
ChatGPT You can get fast, timely answers with links to relevant web sources, which you would have previously needed to go to a search engine for. This blends the benefits of a natural language interface with the value of up-to-date sports scores, news, stock quotes, and more. Chats also now include links to sources, such as news articles and blog posts, giving you a way to learn more.
In order to redirect a query to Google search, type "!g [your query]" (e.g. !g foobar) directly in your browser URL bar.

La idea de integrar ChatGPT directamente en el navegador es excelente, pero la experiencia actual tiene varios puntos que necesitan mejora, especialmente en el uso como buscador. 🔴 Velocidad de búsqueda: La ejecución de búsquedas es notoriamente lenta. Esto es frustrante, sobre todo porque estamos acostumbrados a obtener resultados rápidos con otros motores de búsqueda. En muchos casos, solo necesito llegar rápido a un sitio web o información específica, y la lentitud entorpece ese flujo natural. 🟡 Resumen vs. utilidad práctica: Los resúmenes que ofrece la IA pueden ser buenos, pero no siempre es lo que necesito. A veces solo quiero ir al sitio original, y eso no se facilita bien en esta extensión. 🔴 Falta de enlaces directos: Un problema crítico es que muchas veces no se muestran los vínculos directos a las fuentes. Esto limita muchísimo la utilidad cuando uno quiere profundizar, validar o simplemente seguir navegando. 🟠 Sugerencia de mejora: La extensión debería diferenciar mejor entre distintos tipos de intención de búsqueda. No todas las consultas necesitan una respuesta generada por IA. A veces solo se requiere una búsqueda rápida y enlaces directos. Reenfocar la experiencia para priorizar esos casos comunes haría que la extensión sea realmente útil como buscador. ✅ Resumen de la experiencia: Los resúmenes son útiles en algunos contextos. La velocidad actual no es competitiva. La falta de enlaces limita la navegación. Sería mejor combinar IA con acceso rápido a fuentes.
It`s a good extension, but that needs a option to unable the search, because of this is some annoying. But we are in a good way.
kinda useless, can just do a custom search engine for chatgpt which is much better because don't have to switch default search engine
