This extension will make ChatGPT your default search engine in Chrome. Once ChatGPT has been set as your default search engine, you can search directly via your browser URL bar.

ChatGPT You can get fast, timely answers with links to relevant web sources, which you would have previously needed to go to a search engine for. This blends the benefits of a natural language interface with the value of up-to-date sports scores, news, stock quotes, and more. Chats also now include links to sources, such as news articles and blog posts, giving you a way to learn more.

In order to redirect a query to Google search, type "!g [your query]" (e.g. !g foobar) directly in your browser URL bar.

...What's the point of having an extension that just replaces the default search engine ? There are so many great things an AI extention could do, like helping you verify the sources you visit, having a small chatbox to answer a small question in one sentense, help you with translation or spellcheck (with a given context), warn you about a potential phishing website... Sadly, OpenAI chose the lazy route not to be left behind other tech giants that propose great AI implementations. Too bad.

Это тупо редирект в chatGPT, а не какое-то отдельное окно. Это буквально функционал, который уже покрывается таким инструментом как закладки в браузере, но при этом перекрывая функционал поисковой строки, потому что мне не нужен chatGPT под каждый поисковой запрос. Буквально аддон ради аддона, зачем он нужен? Кому будет полезен? Эти и многие другие вопросы так и останутся без ответа. На данном этапе смысла в аддоне ноль. P.S. для тех кто пишет что аддон не работает - VPN вам в помощь.
