This extension will make ChatGPT your default search engine in Chrome. Once ChatGPT has been set as your default search engine, you can search directly via your browser URL bar.
ChatGPT You can get fast, timely answers with links to relevant web sources, which you would have previously needed to go to a search engine for. This blends the benefits of a natural language interface with the value of up-to-date sports scores, news, stock quotes, and more. Chats also now include links to sources, such as news articles and blog posts, giving you a way to learn more.
In order to redirect a query to Google search, type "!g [your query]" (e.g. !g foobar) directly in your browser URL bar.

No me mal interpreten, GPT es muy bueno, pero, el search se gasta el límite del plus, ahora, lo siento muy invasivo porque para una búsqueda simple de algún sitio en internet o algo se extiende demasiado, lo otro es que el historial de conversaciones se llena en un instante, para ser honestos debería convivir con google, algo así como la extensión de grammarly, en el que sale un pop up pequeñito que diga "Search with GPT" sin reemplazarlo. ahora resulta que no puedo generar imagenes hasta mañana por lo mismo :(...
Out of all the AI or GPT add‑ons I have tried, this one is easily the worst. I tested “Sider: Chat with all AI models” and thought it was spot‑on, but its £18–£20 monthly price tag is too much when I am already paying £19.99 for ChatGPT Plus. Two subscriptions just is not happening. Sider still looks like an excellent tool, though. The official OpenAI extension could be just as good if it acted as a quiet companion to my browsing rather than taking over the tab and turning into a full ChatGPT page. When I Google something I want to reach a website quickly, not be whisked back to ChatGPT. I hope the developers read these reviews and step up their game. I doesn't quite deserve 1 star, as it's still an incredibly useful tool in general. However I don't think it's set up in a way most people would prefer to use it.

It's an interesting exercise to have all of your Web searches go through ChatGTP instead of your browser's default search engine. You discover how many of your searches really need a list of relevant Websites rather than an LLM-generated summary of information. To be really useful, this extension needs a manual way for the user to choose to perform a search that bypasses ChatGPT per search operation. For now, I just keep Bing open on another tab for trad Web searches.
