Overrides the homepage by showing a pixelated screen of most used sites instead of the usual google bar for obvious reasons. And you can't customize it at all. Obviously a rushed product and they need to fix it.

I don't think OpenAI quite grasps that people use traditional and search for different use-cases, as trying to create a product that attempts to do both will result in it not doing well in either. My ChatGPT results now recreate a list of url results like a traditional search engine, but generates the aforementioned list slower than a traditional search engine would. Now, I get neither the time save of getting a summary as I got from the plain-text responses from a no-frills ChatGPT, nor the speediness of a Google query. I will be removing this extension from my browser, and I would also request that OpenAI provides an option to disable web search for all queries to ChatGPT, as it seems to be automatically activated at an ever-increasing frequency.

When ChatGPT went down for hours yesterday I tried to disable the extension so I could just use regular google search during the outage but it kept still trying to use ChatGPT. I turned off autocomplete, also made sure google was the default search engine in settings and even deleted the extension and it still defaulted to ChatGPT. Thankfully Google asked if I wanted to make Google the default again which fixed it but you seriously need to fix this. I like using chatgpt as the default search but won't turn it back on until I know I can turn it off easily.

Don't have problem how to use after installation. But the search results are not as good as I expected. For example, my first search "how to log into Bios menu when I don't have a wired keyboard?". First it repeated my instruction that it understood that I don't have a wired keyboard then gave me the instruction with all the steps with wired keyboard. At the end then repeated that but if I don't have a wired keyboard then I can use the Windows method. And asked me if I want this method! It doesn't make sense how human-like communicate. It is not necessary. And it doesn't make the search quicker. Not as cleaver as an AI suppose to be. And it doesn't have the search history unless you login before. It doesn't auto-login when you first open the browser so it is not very convenient. The extension by itself doesn't have the function to keep your login detail. Every time you open the browser first thing is go to ChatGPT website and login. It is too much.

does not work, I expected to install it and the address/search bar to just change to chatgpt prompt. it did not. There are no instruction on what to do to get i working either. even chatgpt is going around in circles to options that are not there.

There needs to be a way for me to set google as the default and when i press a keybind when pressing enter it goes to chatgpt OR I put something like a ? before my question Edit, I read the extention desc and it says !g will search in google but it has to be the other way around because I go to google to search google so having to put !g will get annoying
