This extension will make ChatGPT your default search engine in Chrome. Once ChatGPT has been set as your default search engine, you can search directly via your browser URL bar.
ChatGPT You can get fast, timely answers with links to relevant web sources, which you would have previously needed to go to a search engine for. This blends the benefits of a natural language interface with the value of up-to-date sports scores, news, stock quotes, and more. Chats also now include links to sources, such as news articles and blog posts, giving you a way to learn more.
In order to redirect a query to Google search, type "!g [your query]" (e.g. !g foobar) directly in your browser URL bar.

Me parece buena idea pero no la de que se te abra un nuevo Chat y en la Web de ChatGPT cada vez que realizas una búsqueda, tendría que ser una web específicamente para hacer búsquedas en internet y no el mismo ChatGPT que hemos estado usando ya por 2 años. ¡Un saludo!
К самой работе плагина вопросов нет, но он ломает работу стартовой страницы твоих вкладок, убирает удобное гугловское меню в правом углу. Просто черный экран и последние сайты по центру. Есть куда пилить его
Not working on my Chrome.
Good for text search but not for News, image search or video search. They would launched it after thorough testing and research.
i would rather: 1 directly type "c", and let the navigator finish the rest "Chatgpt.com" and redirect my to the GPT site. 2 type in the question i wanna ask 3 vala the taking over of my ability to screen all the infor i can find is actually.... not ideal, you better integrate it in google search engine or works like gemini instead. there is no way it can replace a search engine ealisy like this.

For anyone who wants to **seamlessly switch** between Google and ChatGPT, you can add this as a site search in your browser: URL: "https://chatgpt.com?model=gpt-4o&hints=search&q=%s" (without the quotation marks) 👉 Setup Guide: Go to your browser settings. Search for "search" in the settings bar. Under "Search Engines," go to "Manage." In the "Site Search" section, add the URL above with a shortcut like @chat or chatgpt. 🔧 Customization: 🔹Remove hints=search if you don’t want ChatGPT to automatically use web search. 🔹Change model=gpt-4o to any other model you have access to.
