This extension will make ChatGPT your default search engine in Chrome. Once ChatGPT has been set as your default search engine, you can search directly via your browser URL bar.
ChatGPT You can get fast, timely answers with links to relevant web sources, which you would have previously needed to go to a search engine for. This blends the benefits of a natural language interface with the value of up-to-date sports scores, news, stock quotes, and more. Chats also now include links to sources, such as news articles and blog posts, giving you a way to learn more.
In order to redirect a query to Google search, type "!g [your query]" (e.g. !g foobar) directly in your browser URL bar.

Uso o sistema ubuntu com o chrome, no entanto nao funciona com a extensao, mesmo usando a versao paga do chatgpt, assim que tiver suporte eu volto aqui.
I think the functionality itself is almost better than ever It was truly fantastic, true, and about the potential, it will go even further but whenever you search, you got a new bar, I think this is not a brilliant part except that part, the funcs are really cool

very good until I searched 15 times, and noticed that every search is a new tab. would be really great if only 1 tab is used.
Cool idea, would be a 5 star if you could easly toggle on or off, or better yet when doing an individual serach use some sort of keybind to decide to do normal search or use searchgpt
Why it work so EGOISTIC - it just blocking all other search engines. plz just add a OPTION to search via gtp .
I love it, but it would be nice to still be able to use a different search engine through a toggle of some kind. Currently you have to disable the extension completely which is annoying because you have to go to settings all the time. If we had a toggle option somewhere on the toolbar icon that would amazing!
instead of using a url section to search, should have a option to click extention and search in its stand alone search bar.
Es util como concepto y muy buena idea, sin embargo entorpece la interacción directa con el buscador google. Debería ser una opción de pasada solo cuando se necesite utilizar.
