This extension will make ChatGPT your default search engine in Chrome. Once ChatGPT has been set as your default search engine, you can search directly via your browser URL bar.
ChatGPT You can get fast, timely answers with links to relevant web sources, which you would have previously needed to go to a search engine for. This blends the benefits of a natural language interface with the value of up-to-date sports scores, news, stock quotes, and more. Chats also now include links to sources, such as news articles and blog posts, giving you a way to learn more.
In order to redirect a query to Google search, type "!g [your query]" (e.g. !g foobar) directly in your browser URL bar.

an sich cool aber jedes mal einen neuen chat erstellen und zuerst zur chatgpt seite navigieren nimmt für mich den sinn. Ich nutze chatgpt schon länger als suchengine aber bleibe dafür lieber direkt auf der Seite ohne diese Extension. Aber die Idee ist cool.
Pointless. Just use the website for GPT queries, don't bother installing this - it's just a redirect.

This is what we need- a BROWSER that doesn't redirect to GPT search. We want it build INTO the browser like google just feel like its weird at the moment. Useful but I like google better
This extension didn't work for me. I had to manually add chatgpt search in my list of Chrome "search engines". This is the url that I had to (manually) add: http://chatgpt.com/?hints=search&q=%s
While I love the accuracy and how blazingly fast it does all the search, like some people are saying, I'd want two things: 1) an easy ON/OFF button 2) a user config for activating `?temporary-chat`. Until these two are achieved, I personally wouldn't use this on a daily basis (though it surely is **very** powerful), since it clutters my chat history and it's not even easy to opt-out.
