The EU regulations require that any website using tracking cookies must get user's permission before installing them. Imagine how irritating that becomes when you surf anonymously or if you delete cookies automatically every time you close the browser.
In most cases, it just blocks or hides cookie related pop-ups. When it's needed for the website to work properly, it will automatically accept the cookie policy for you (sometimes it will accept all and sometimes only necessary cookie categories, depending on what's easier to do). It doesn't delete cookies.

Habe die Erweiterung jetzt länger genutzt, das Problem mit den Cookie Meldungen gibts jetzt nur noch auf einigen wenigen Websites. Doch leider funktionieren bei mir manche Websites und Webshops überhaupt nicht mehr, da die Meldung nur ausgeblendet wird aber nicht akzeptiert. Da ist die Erweiterung leider noch nicht 100% einsatzbereit.
This extension caused that my Google Chrome browser on Linux Ubuntu 21.04 didn't show scrollbars anymore on several websites. It became impossible to scroll down. After disabling this extension everything worked fine again.

Works great for most websites. It will save you so much unnecessary work. It can be slow on certain sites, but it's almost seamless

Breaks compatibility with a plethora of modern websites: pop-ups just stop working. Had me fiddling with chrome for ages until I disabled it and poof, everything worked again
It breaks medium.com Worked well in the past but recently it'll break some functionality in medium.com. For example after login, click on the personal profile icon right-top of page, nothing will show. (It should show up a dropdown about personal settings.)
