The EU regulations require that any website using tracking cookies must get user's permission before installing them. Imagine how irritating that becomes when you surf anonymously or if you delete cookies automatically every time you close the browser.
In most cases, it just blocks or hides cookie related pop-ups. When it's needed for the website to work properly, it will automatically accept the cookie policy for you (sometimes it will accept all and sometimes only necessary cookie categories, depending on what's easier to do). It doesn't delete cookies.

Overall a well implemented and much needed extension. Unfortunately, some websites will break when it's enabled, and not in a way that is easy to debug. Probably because the way websites ask for consent is not standardized, and as a result some of the extension's filter will yield unexpected results.

Super efficace contre les pop-ups cookies
Has anyone calculated yet how much time and frustration could be saved when these stupid cookie messages would be abolished by the EU? I think everyone who is using the internet already knows the cookies exist. Why should not this be a browser preference rather than this spam?
Haven't tried it jet, but I will, and I need this for android devices so bad, I would even pay for it, I prefer using Firefox on my smartphone so I hope this is possible in the Future
Is there a way to turn off the auto-accept cookies for the websites which don't work properly without accepting them? I prefer not automatically accepting any cookies unless I do it manually so I know what I am accepting. I see some sites have the option of enabling cookies which make a website work, however, they also give an option for other cookies which I do not wish to enable. Re: In this forum, a post on Oct. 16, 2018 a reply to Xavier, "It mostly hides cookie warnings (or blocks related scripts from being loaded at all) and doesn't care what will the website do without an accepted cookie policy. There are websites which don't work properly without accepting it. In those cases, the extension automatically clicks "I agree" buttons as soon as it finds them."
