The EU regulations require that any website using tracking cookies must get user's permission before installing them. Imagine how irritating that becomes when you surf anonymously or if you delete cookies automatically every time you close the browser.
In most cases, it just blocks or hides cookie related pop-ups. When it's needed for the website to work properly, it will automatically accept the cookie policy for you (sometimes it will accept all and sometimes only necessary cookie categories, depending on what's easier to do). It doesn't delete cookies.

This extension has been bought out by a shady company collecting your data. Search in the store for "I still don't care about cookies" to find the open source alternative forked from this original project- that one isn't selling your data and has higher rated reviews, doing the same thing but better!
A extensão era muito boa. Mas, recentemente, foi comprada pela Avast - empresa processada recentemente em U$16 milhões por, no período de 2014 a 2020, utilizar do seu "anti-vírus" e extensões de navegador (incluindo navegação privativa) para coletar e vender os dados dos seus usuários. Tome cuidado. Caso você use uBlock Origin, recomendo ir em Configurações -> Lista de filtros e ativar a lista "Adguard/uBO - Cookie Notices". Faz o mesmo efeito que essa extensão.

THIS EXTENSION IS NO LONGER SUPPORTED AND WILL NOT WORK
Poor Quality. Reporting a cookie banner on a webpage requires an answer to a security question. The question seems to be an image that is NOT visible. How can anyone answer a question they cannot see ? One Star Quality.

How does this extension have 3.9 stars? It literally has never worked once, ever since I installed it two years ago!!! I still get cookie popups on virtually 99.99% of the websites. Look, I'm not hating, I'm just telling the truth. I swear it can't just be me. Do yourself a favor and uninstall this useless extension and find one that actually works.
