Never again will I sign onto Facebook to write a message and then forgot why I was there.
YES! I just spent probably a whole HOUR looking for an app to kill my news feed. Facebook is great for keeping in touch with people, so I didn't want to get rid of it entirely. The news feed, however, is the root of all evil. Great idea to replace it with inspirational quotes! EDIT: it's been 2 weeks now, and I still absolutely love this. Greatly recommended.
Best extension ever! Second time I've searched for something like this and finally someone had the same idea and built it! Works beautifully!

Amazing idea. I was thinking exactly the same that's written in the description, searched in the Web Store and found this extension! But I do think that this could come with a small disable button.
Best thing I've installed in a very long time - returns Facebook to meaning you have to actually take an interest in people, and hides all the attention seeking ****s. :]
