Works great, except for the part where it spikes the CPU usage of Chrome on OSX. Unchecked it and CPU load went from 130% x2 to 2% x2. Really google, you need to fix this NOW.

Agreed... my CPU was pegged with this extension on, which I've had for quite some time. My laptop was cooking. A new phenomenon.

When ever I add this extension, my CPU goes crazy, Chrome uses 99% of my CPU. Once I remove it, it goes back to 1-2%. If you have weird CPU utilization, remove this ext asap

This extension is causing my CPU usage to spike dramatically in Chromium 18.

No idea why, but it causes my CPU usage to shoot up to an average of ~85-90%. You should be able to do better than this, Google.

This spawns two extra chrome processes and maxes out the CPU as soon as it is enabled...

I had to disable this extension as it was thrashing my hard disk as well as hogging CPU usage. Why?

Version 1.2 is a CPU hog with Chrome 21.0.1180.79. Remove it to get back to normal. Clearly a bug!
