Version 1.2 is maxing out CPU for Chrome 21.0.1180.79 on CentOS 6.3 and openSUSE 11.3 Version 1.3 CPU issues are fixed.
Something is going on. This extension is maxing out my CPU like nothing else. Bug?
yup, like others said, 1.2 eats 100% CPU on OS X Mountain Lion (Chrome 22.0.1229.2 dev)
This review refers specifically to version 1.2, which on OS X causes Chrome to use highly excessive CPU. I had to disable IBA Opt-out to get the CPU back to normal.
uninstall after extrem cpu usage
As others have noted, ver. 1.2 (Chrome ver. 21.0.1180.79 m) is pegging CPU at 50+% Please fix. EDIT: This is fixed with extension update to ver. 1.3
It used to work well, but there is an obvious leak occurring now. After being upgrade to Chrome 21.0.1180.77 I couldn't figure out why the CPU usage for Chrome was so high. Troubleshooting, I deselected every extension one-by-one and IBA Opt-out was the cause.
As of the most recent version of chrome, this extension has started to use upwards of 36% of my total CPU. Not cool.
Used to work great. Latest update causes it to use 100% CPU constantly.
As other reviews note, it seems to have a memory leak.
