I haven't found anything it won't open (yet.) We constantly receive .xlsx files with frozen panes, hundreds of needlessly hidden cells, bizarre and meaningless references to other sheets from external sources that have clearly done 1 too many excel courses. So far it's handled the lot and more importantly rendered them as the original, which is where Excel 2003 (our current, over-aged deployment) fails.
