Working for .doc and .ppt, but not for .docx or . pptx for me.
It works as advertised plus it is getting better in time.
Very good extension, but it works when you already have an application in your OS for opening Office Files(for example Microsoft Word/Excel/Power Point Viewers.
I really don't understand why the "quick view" was removed from google search. This extension isn't perfect as I still have to download pdfs which I'd rather just view in the browser using quick view so it doesn't work as an alternative to it.

I'm not sure if it's working. I have a VIEW and DOWNLOAD option next to each word doc. That was there before I installed extension. It opens with Google Docs Viewer. I can view in my browser, but it's 'converted' by GDocs. That's not the same thing, right?
可以用，以后简单的打开office文件就用chrome好了

Why in one of my computers it workwd well but in another it didn't work. The tool still has some bugs.
Awesome! But it seems that it doesn't work on my Chrome Version 28.0.1478.0 m, Windows 7 SP1.
