With this extension you can easily search for text you have selected. When some text is selected you can left click the selected text to get a popup where you can choose a search engine to search with.
In the options page you can customize the look of the menu, which mouse button that should activate the menu, which search engines to show, and a lot of other things.

When you install this extension you will get a warning that this extension can:
"Access your data on all websites."
This is needed because the code for the popup-menu needs to be added to every website for it to work.

doesnt have copy to clipboard doesnt automatically pop up on select its an inferior option functionality wise, but design wise its great
Very useful extension! Just would like to add the "copy" command in the list of the popup menu. Thanks a lot!
How can you live without it? After the former only "pop-up" extension was sold to a spam company I've been looking for an alternative for Chrome but only found tedious "context menu" versions. This extension brings back the time saving quick search and the seamless integration with Mycroft is just perfect.
Everythings ok, but it lacks: -dark theme/transparency for icons only -smaller bezzel option -there is 0,5second lag between selecting and popup window apear.

It's really very helpfull tool, perfect time saver, easy to use and great personalization of preferences. I recommend it.
A godsend. Seemed most other searches have been discontinued. I wanted one that backs up to the cloud (settings and searches) cause it was a pain to readd whenever I used a new computer or keep them in sync. With this, tada! All works. Context menu does not work for me (Chromium) but right click is fine...
Must be as default functional in chrome. Very usefull extension!
