It doesn't work at all. I installed this to prevent loud dialogues and musical inserts in talk shows where levels are unbalanced. It did not work. I doubt it's a compressor. Could be a pseudo app to collect data because it doesn't have a compressor GUI. You need knobs and sliders to adjust thresholds and ratios. It's like a car without a steering wheel.
Works okay. Would be nice to have some options for the extension like being able to disable the 'V' hotkey.

Works exactly as advertised.
It was good for a while, but started making videos pause after they start and not be able to un-pause.
Really useful extension! It really helps with both loud and quiet videos.
don't expect this to magically fix all of your audio woes on YouTube, but it definitely helps smooth out audio levels a little and noticably boosts quiet videos. plus it's a very small and light extension that requires no setup whatsoever (for better or worse), it's a one-click thing that tucks itself into the video player's control bar. no reason not to give it a try and hear for yourself
I would like to change the activation hotkey
working great. but please add a hotkey for quick turning on/off. (like "V" or something) not every video need to be compressed. it's just a little bit bothersome when you watch different videos at once.
Where are the settings? how do I evne know if its active?
