Would live it if you could configure the extensions supported. We sometimes preprocess .adoc files and the raw input has the extension .adoc.pl. Usually our preprocessing doesn't affect output enough to make much of a difference, especially for preview purposes.

Has made a world of difference to me for writing books with asciidoc -- instead of obsessing over asciidoctor themes in my editor, i just, ahem, throw in in chrome and see what's what! Also, i can tweak the formatting a bit to make cut-and-paste friendly copies of chapters to drop into a google doc or email for my readers.
