drawback: It demands you to login into Bit.Ly service to use the full power of the tool.
This thing is sweet as. I use it heaps to share pages with friends.

Used the login via twitter/facebook bit to create and account but when I try to use the extension it doesn't recognize that I'm logged in nor does it provide the option to login w/said accounts. Not useful if it requires an account but only allows standard login procedure (ie user name & pw) & does not recognize that I am already logged in.
This is an excellent extension. I love the fact that with one click I can grab a shortened URL and have it in my clipboard. What would make this a perfect extension would be a keyboard shortcut.
