People, remember one thing!! You will NEVER find a anti-tracking extension or whatsoever on chrome web store. it is all fake, and when a st*pid extension tells you it blocked this and that, it doesnt mean it really did. even if it "does" stops sites from tracking you, google is not one of them. you will "always" be tracked by google. An apple is never gonna be a pear, straight will never turn gay, gay will always stay gay, evil is never gonna be good, google will always be google. :P
I consider this a must have extension that works perfectly for my needs. I have not encountered any bugs, it does not slow anything down on my system, and even though I have to disable it to login to Google services etc., I do that so rarely and don't use gmail, it's really not a problem at all. Two thumbs up!
works nice, however if you have Two-Step verification installed for accessing your GMail account it forgets your verified for 30 days
basically, it doesn't work. sites show me their facebook buttons, the extension kicks in after a page refresh only
This does a good job at blocking ad sites, including google, but unfortunately, it also makes gmail impossible to use. There should be a feature to allow exceptions so that I can block google ad programs, but still access gmail etc.
I want the option to disable this in some sites.
Does not work with two-step authentication on Google's services. Kept logging me out.
Very necessary given all that is going on with Facebook and Google. Works perfectly and easily.
I've had disconnect for many months, it has kept facebook, google, etc from web tracking without any problems. It's a great product, I'm quite thankful someone took the time to offer this to the public for free. Very impressive. Since I want to keep my information private, it's been a god-send.
I had an issue with inaccessibility of Gmail (Constantly redirecting to Login page) because of Disconnect.
