As a Japanese dictionary, rikaikun helps you look up the only the words you don't know without losing your place. It's also useful for Japanese speakers wanting to know how to say Japanese phrases in English.

* Enable text to speech in the options to hear Japanese words you look up spoken out load.

Works fairly well. It doesnt read full long words too well though.
It's good, just not as good as rikaichan (the Firefox extension it's based on). There are several instances I've found of text it won't 'see' where chan sees it fine. Also, it often seems to 'drift'; think the text is lower or higher than it is. Also, it doesn't get along with input boxes. Chan doesn't either, but Kun seems worse in that regard. When it works, it's great, and it works most of the time. You may find yourself disappointed if you've come from Firefox, however.
