Great concept. A bit slow at times on Mac/ Chrome. Templates a bit wonky (wish it didn't start a new thread and just pasted the body of a template into the email if you're using an existing thread - it looks like it's just going to reply, but alters the subject behind the scenes which creates a new thread with all the replies - very confusing and messy). But really helpful for a v1 release, saves time not having to go into Salesforce for basic tasks. It should have an option for admins to 'block' the ability to relate an email if you're using Einstein Activity Capture to simplify the UX and avoid duplicate emails in Salesforce. It should also support editing of all objects/ types within the sidebar. Sometimes it kicks you back into Salesforce to perform an edit.
Great tool! Improves the Salesforce User Experience and introduces Lightning to our org. Definitely has room for improvement with creating custom objects and looking up various email address fields, but so far a huge step for Salesforce.

Its good version with user friendly UI, but improvement scope is to relate emails to relevant salesforce record, also option to add attachment through this lighting Gmail
Very good, especially with the addition of lightning templates in the recent release. Needs automatic adding of emails in order to replace Cirrus Insight.
It is good but, we have found that on Mac it slows down and ultimately it forces you to close the tab. In Windows it works Great.
Great to have this as part of the Lightning experience. Couple of areas it needs improvement in: 1. The email templates feature is un-usable, as a new message compose window entirely blocks the gmail sidebar, and templates features disappear if I minimise the email in composition. Can't use the templates feature in a new window composition either. 2. The 'relate to Salesforce' button would be even better if it prompted the user to relate the email, like the Salesforce IQ Inbox plugin does. 3. An option to automatically relate all future emails in a thread! Keep up the great work team
Love it! Makes the marriage between Saleforce and gmail so much easier!
If configured with Salesforce Sync to auto create/associate Events and auto associate Contacts it's a real alternative to paid apps - associating emails is quick, side panel auto-queries records from SF so it's not like you need to search. If email tracking and auto associated emails are a must then go w/ Cirrus but if not this is a good free solution.
