this extension is worth it, easy to use.
This is the most frustrating extension I have ever used, and there are some bad ones out there. It starts talking when you don't want it to. It jumps up to the top of the document when you just found something way down the bottom, so you lose your place. It does not read in your Chrome tab, but opens up a separate window, which might be OK if it worked well. I gave up on it today when every time I hit the STOP button, it restarted talking 10 seconds later. From now on, I'll appreciate MS Edge's Text-to-Voice even though it has it's own problems. It must be a challenging feature to incorporate.
Excellent easy to use Text to Speech extension. It has many options and flexibility. I tried many other extensions. They were either paid extensions, or had lacked options/flexibility.
The best free TTS extension by far in my humble opinion.
I like this TTS because it works fast/immediately compared to other ones I've tried!! I use the one called "GoogleTranslate English"
