I just installed GV and the Extension and working so far, the only problem i have is that my computer is slow so when i get a call and clicked ' Answer' it takes a few seconds before it connects.

My issues are the myriad of small things that plague an otherwise OK piece of software. It usually feels like death by 1000 paper cuts with this extension. - the # of unread message flag is unreliable (it wont' go away after you've read things); - When popping up the SMS window, it takes you to the top, even though the most recent messages in the thread are at the bottom. Infuriating for long threads; - no timestamps - If you archive a thread, new incoming messages re-start that thread. Unclear how to get a new thread going with a regular correspondent. - No option to hide specific messages within a thread - multipart SMS's are often displayed out of order; - clicking the GV icon in the Chrome toolbar when the pop up window is already open re-opens that window rather than closing it: unexpected UI behavior;

This extension does exactly what it says. I like the convenience of having my texts right in the toolbar instead of always having a tab open. My one complaint, however, is that pressing tab doesn't always behave as expected. While typing a text, you should be able to hit tab and then enter to send a text, just like on the google voice page. For some reason this doesn't always work, and tab takes you to other parts of the pop-up. Other than that, it's a great extension.
