Great Job GOOGLE Voice Team! Extremely versatile, yet Easy to use. One DOWNSIDE - It is not possible to Turn Off Google Voicemail if no other voicemail system is setup. If after 25 seconds the call is not handled, it will go to GOOGLE Voice Mail.
I could not live without it!
It is convenient to send a quick text, but the notification sound does not play consistently. It also has a notification of one unread message, despite my inbox being empty of new messages. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, and the notification is still there. I had to go to the Legacy version of Google Voice to mark an unread message as read (even though I'd already responded to it in the new version). I also miss incoming calls because Voice does not ring anymore- what's up with that?
use to work fine, now the voice messages don't pay and the unread message number does not always update. It needs an overhaul. OS: Windows 10
This extension is convinced I have unread messages. I don't actually have any unread messages, I even cleared my spam and checked the old version of GV.
Well Google, you updated Voice on Android and the web, which I thank you dearly for, but you failed to update this extension. The persistent 5 on the badge is annoying when I mark all convos as read and clear the extension's data multiple times.

Always wants to call my phone then connect me... why have have voice when i still need a device?
