Everything looks good, but I just got a message from ElevenLabs saying I can’t use it. I hardly use it at all, so I’m not sure what’s causing the issue. I definitely haven’t been overusing it—I only check the pronunciation of words occasionally. "MESSAGE FROM ELEVENLABS: Unusual activity detected. Free Tier usage disabled. If you are using a proxy/VPN you might need to purchase a Paid Plan to not trigger our abuse detectors. Free Tier only works if users do not abuse it, for example by creating multiple free accounts. If we notice that many people try to abuse it, we will need to reconsider Free Tier altogether. Please play fair and purchase any Paid Subscription to continue."
Solved: Its saying unusual activity detected...please pay for subscription. ?? Not sure what is causing this as I am not using vpn, maybe ad blocker? .. will reconsider after hearing solution from dev... -Update: it is working and sounds better than the top 3 competitors. Great job! I can get the concept of the article/post/ a lot quicker. Check out "Word Skipper Highlighter" to speed read even faster. Aka. Speed Reading Stack= human reader+word skipper highlighter+readsy. That's the best stack I've found: add below for even better stacks!
Very easy to use and great performance
Apparently it does not work with Google Docs... Like, at all. Weird. But otherwise, this is great! Also, VERY odd choice for a hotkey. I mean, Crtl+H??? That is universally known as open history, across the board, for any browser, Chrome very much included. So, please consider changing this or making it a custom hotkey.
Worked well. Tho, the very last few milliseconds gets cut out. Not a problem for general use, but was a bit unfortunate now that I was going to use it to create a quick demo video of a website and app.
Great extension
A nice little extension from the community. Agree the price should be lower, but I appreciate the hustle, Seb!
There is a problem that I cannot use when I put the IP key. It gives me that the AIP key is invalid and I am creating the AIP key for elevenlabs and I am sure that it is correct and give all the permissions but it does not work.
Use piper, or other.... want something free... use the elevenlabs reader app on mobile (it doesn't use your API key...) this i don't see the value in the app i am giving it a 1 star because you didn't figure out an option for free tts....
