Switch to typing in a different language with the click of the mouse, and switch back just as easily. The Google Input Tools extension provides virtual keyboards for over 90 languages, full IMEs or direct transliteration for over 30 different scripts, and handwriting input for over 40 languages.
What's New?
✓ Malayalam now prioritize Arabic numerals as the default output when typing numbers. This change makes it easier to input numbers, as Malayalam numerals are not commonly used.
Usage Instructions:
When you first install the extension, click on the extension icon, then select "Extension Options" in the pop-up menu. A new tab will appear where you can select your preferred languages or input methods. The keyboards, IMEs or handwriting input you add to 'Selected input tools' can be enabled at any time from the extension itself. You can always return to this options page to add, remove, or change the order of your input tools.

Straightforward and easy to use, but make sure you choose English as an option as well, to be able to switch back to it
Sovellus aiheutti sen että ääkköset eivät toimineet kunnolla. Nimittäin, kirjoitaessani esim. Googlen hakukenttään å- ja ö-kirjaimia niin niiden tilalle tuli jotain muita merkkejä. Ongelma myös heijastui Wordpress-editoriin siten että sielläkin kirjaimet eivät näyttäneet siltä millaiseksi ne oli tarkoitettu. Heti kun poistin "Google Inputs Tools" käytöstä, viat korjaantui samantien aivan kuin itsestään, sekä Wordpressissä että Googlen hakukentässä. Nyt voin taas kirjoitella ääkkösiä (å. ä ja ö) ilman ongelmia. Huh, tässä meni elämstäni 2 tuntia hukkaan kun ensin luulin että vika oli Wordpressin "Charset"-asetuksissa. Mutta heti kun näin että Googlen hakukenttä myöskin herjaa tajusin että vika on todennäköisesti jossakin laajennuksessa, ja niinpä olikin. Käyttöjärjestelmänä on WIN 10 ja selaimena uusin Chrome.
