Switch to typing in a different language with the click of the mouse, and switch back just as easily. The Google Input Tools extension provides virtual keyboards for over 90 languages, full IMEs or direct transliteration for over 30 different scripts, and handwriting input for over 40 languages.
What's New?
✓ Malayalam now prioritize Arabic numerals as the default output when typing numbers. This change makes it easier to input numbers, as Malayalam numerals are not commonly used.
Usage Instructions:
When you first install the extension, click on the extension icon, then select "Extension Options" in the pop-up menu. A new tab will appear where you can select your preferred languages or input methods. The keyboards, IMEs or handwriting input you add to 'Selected input tools' can be enabled at any time from the extension itself. You can always return to this options page to add, remove, or change the order of your input tools.

It would be good if the lag bug for non-English languages (or at least for Pinyin - Traditional Chinese) is resolved and the cursor stops jumping around: 1. Sometimes when you type, nothing shows up, and then a bunch of things appear at the same time. 2. Or sometimes when you type (or even cut/copy and paste), the cursor suddenly jumps to another location and replaces what you have previously typed. Both are pretty annoying, it's a pity.

I do not know why they disabled the shift function to change the language. That was very helpful and I hope they return this great feature back.
This is an awesome extension, but it does not work on google docs. I wish this would be fixed(unless this only happens on my computer). Thanks!
I like it
Poor. You can't type in Latin macrons, you can only draw them in. Would it be so hard to be able to type 'a-' and have it turn it into 'ā'?
Good. But I want to have the desktop version for cantonese then I can type Chinese on my PC, not just in Chrome.
It is very useful and productive but it does not work always hence you can not toggle between English and other opted language. If this is corrected then this app can be rated above 5 star.
Awesome! Simply the best to input on the go no need separate exe to run. Compatible to all web page and supports the transliterate.
I used to really like this tool, but it's really not working at all these days! Very frustrating
