Switch to typing in a different language with the click of the mouse, and switch back just as easily. The Google Input Tools extension provides virtual keyboards for over 90 languages, full IMEs or direct transliteration for over 30 different scripts, and handwriting input for over 40 languages.
What's New?
✓ Malayalam now prioritize Arabic numerals as the default output when typing numbers. This change makes it easier to input numbers, as Malayalam numerals are not commonly used.
Usage Instructions:
When you first install the extension, click on the extension icon, then select "Extension Options" in the pop-up menu. A new tab will appear where you can select your preferred languages or input methods. The keyboards, IMEs or handwriting input you add to 'Selected input tools' can be enabled at any time from the extension itself. You can always return to this options page to add, remove, or change the order of your input tools.

The application seems very good except for one killing problem: when typing SHIFT + SPACE, no space appears, just nothing happens. That's just horrible because you cannot type quickly anymore. Sentences like "the book I will buy" starts to read like "the bookI will buy" because you typed to quickly... Google, please fix that bug, and then I will maybe use the app.
good app, but not works on the review page...and if have hotkey confituration will be better

it works well earlier but now it's turned on by itself now it's very annoying , should introduce new shortcut key to turn on and off shift key is not a very good option , and turned off the automatic activation
The transliteration part works great. However I find it really annoying that it uses [shift] key for turning it on and off. Plus I'm pretty sure half the time it turns on by itself. It would be nice to have costume hotkey, and it being off by default.
In Luke's Youtube intro to this extension, he says he is adding Chinese Pinyin to Chrome. In fact, this extension does not let you add Pinyin (romanized Chinese with tone marks) to a document. Get to work you guys!
