Switch to typing in a different language with the click of the mouse, and switch back just as easily. The Google Input Tools extension provides virtual keyboards for over 90 languages, full IMEs or direct transliteration for over 30 different scripts, and handwriting input for over 40 languages.
What's New?
✓ Malayalam now prioritize Arabic numerals as the default output when typing numbers. This change makes it easier to input numbers, as Malayalam numerals are not commonly used.
Usage Instructions:
When you first install the extension, click on the extension icon, then select "Extension Options" in the pop-up menu. A new tab will appear where you can select your preferred languages or input methods. The keyboards, IMEs or handwriting input you add to 'Selected input tools' can be enabled at any time from the extension itself. You can always return to this options page to add, remove, or change the order of your input tools.

Best input tools..
In Gmail's interface, after updated from Google talk to hangout, input tools didn't capture the input if the chat windows didn't pop-out.
Great Cantonese input! Especially like your strong vocabulary and slang and abbreviated words. So natural Cantonese pronunciation! Forget the awkward jyutping that few Hong Kong people use!!! Yes it would be better to be able to type it in the address bar. Please fix it. Perhaps if it could remember my most frequently used words and put it on top, it will be my dream IME.
There's a bug that can accidentally wipe out a cell's content in Google spreadsheet when using Cantonese input: After typing in one cell (cell A) you may press [Enter] key to go to the next cell (cell B), for some reason the original content in cell B would be wiped out. I can always reproduce this bug when Cantonese input is turned on, but not in English keyboard or Chinese handwriting input.
Hi, it would be super cool, if we can assign our own 'short key' other than [shift]< key.
new version 4 - but still cannot use it in other extension??? (Hangouts, Keep, etc) Come on
Took some time to getting used to but has a lot of features which is fun. Also adds the tool to gmail so you dont have to turn the browser option On/Off again and again. However, copy paste does not work and you have to type it from scratch if you want to transliterate.
Exceptional! Must try it out. Love it!
