Switch to typing in a different language with the click of the mouse, and switch back just as easily. The Google Input Tools extension provides virtual keyboards for over 90 languages, full IMEs or direct transliteration for over 30 different scripts, and handwriting input for over 40 languages.
What's New?
✓ Malayalam now prioritize Arabic numerals as the default output when typing numbers. This change makes it easier to input numbers, as Malayalam numerals are not commonly used.
Usage Instructions:
When you first install the extension, click on the extension icon, then select "Extension Options" in the pop-up menu. A new tab will appear where you can select your preferred languages or input methods. The keyboards, IMEs or handwriting input you add to 'Selected input tools' can be enabled at any time from the extension itself. You can always return to this options page to add, remove, or change the order of your input tools.

I was using it fine for about four years and suddenly it only gives me an html page full of chinese text when I try to go to 'options' I can't even seem to report this bug anywhere.
I have been using this for more than a year now, it works great until I reinstalled chrome and now I can't find the option to toggle the Cantonese input. There's only Mandarin input to choose from now, please can you look into it and add back the Cantonese input. Thanks in advance.
I've been using the Microsoft Pinyin IME for typing Chinese across the board on my PC for years and all applications supported the IME including Chrome until the second half of 2017 Chrome stopped reacting to the IME so I have no choice but to download this extension in order to type Chinese in Chrome. This extension does not work by itself. I still have to keep both the Microsoft Pinyin IME and this extension on in order to type Chinese characters in Chrome. Even so, it is intermittent. Sometimes works, sometimes don't, or it's working in the first tab, when you open a new tab it does not work
