The "Media Player" is a browser extension to play music and video files either locally or from online sources. This project aims to bring a VLC-liked media playing experience using native HTML5 technology. The add-on is built on top of the well-known "video.js" project by applying a few custom plug-ins to enhance the user experience. This player supports media boosting, speed control, playlist media selection, fullwidth-progress bar, HTTP-streaming (M3U8), cast to a remote device, and wave surfer visual for audio files.

Right-click on the player and select "Open in Media Player"

I liked this video player, but one lack. when i play video with dual audio language it can capture only one audio language. example if i play a video that have two audio file english and hindi , this video player can play ony one . there is no option to change.
Easiest way to cast a local playlist to Google Home. Chrome browser can play and cast by default but this plugin provided a way to control a playlist instead of casting files one by one.
As a mediaplayer does not have the ability to do the simplest thing as 'go to next' or 'go to previous' and it cannot handle/start/stop from a simple folder with media files such as FLAC or MP3 files it is worthless. This extention is worthless.
In Opera this extension stopped working! I don't know if it's working in Crhome (I don't think so, because in opera it's installed via "Install Chrome Extensions", and it doesn't work). No Opera esta extensão parou de funcionar! Não sei se no Crhome está funcionando (creio que não, pois no opera ela é instalada via "Install Chrome Extensions", e não funciona).
Super. It is working fine and there all the options which we need. Really it is a life saving video player
Greatest thing I ever found, how did I not know about this? I've searched every media player app and so on for 1 I can zoom in and out of - keyboard controls ( skips 10 secs forward ETC- even viewing video in photos or drive won't do that not even viewing the file in chrome ) ! it's 5 stars but to make it more perfect allow it to open multiple window mode rather than just one

Can't seem to play the video track of an mp4 file, also can't get it to cast
Very BAD extension decrease the video quality
Good video player but cannot change the audio stream. How do I change the audio stream? if possible.
