Plain excellent tool! Thanks! One question: is it possible to add an option to insert a link to source URL at the top of saved page?
It doesn't work :-(
somehow ,the javascript have been removed when compiling singlefile.
Taskbar icon turns green and that's the end of it. No banner or further interaction offered. Nothing saved that I can see.
Would be ok if it actually worked. Chrome 18.0 and Mac 10.6.8. The extension processes the page, but does not allow you to save it, reload the page and repeat and the extension then allows you to save.
This is such a useful extension! I often need to archive full pages to document research, and SingleFile does everything I was looking for in such an extension.
Hi gladis! Thank you for great extension. BUG: Pages with long title can't be saved. I think that because limit the maximum file name length. In the first version SingleFile that I use, it could be possible to change file name during saving the page. But now I don't know how to do this.
works like champ - must be the dec 27 update. wooohooo no more clutter for saving webpages. i tried saving 5 pages with articles and tons of images. it handled all them at once with ease. thankx for the awesome extension
good and useful tool, but has many issues. I think the next versions will be better.
This add-on is absolutely useless. I can't save any page with it. It just says ... initializing Working in the background is checked and grayed out, so I can't uncheck it
