Tengo con Norton ya 3 años, al principio me bloqueó demasiadas veces la navegación y lo quité, no dejaba trabajar, había sitios que incluso algunas herramientas marcaban como seguras, pero Norton no dejaba navegar. Ahora tengo un par de meses con esta función de seguridad en la navegación, y ha funcionado bastante bien. Pensé en que me iba a bloquear, pero no, parece que ahora si funciona.

BEWARE OF THE PHISHING SCAMS. I was talking to (one I thought was Norton) and the agent asked for my full SS# and I said "I do not give my full # to anyone on the phone and why are you asking for my full #? Norton have never done that before" and I said: NO and then the agent hung up. I said you already have ALL of my info so why are you asking for my SS#? Then she replied "we are not allowed to see your SS#" I said: Ok, then I'm not giving it to you either, give me a supervisor.

I got rid of my last antivirus software because they spoon fed me programs that I thought I was getting in the first place and so I tried Norton. They are doing the same dam thing, when my renewal is up I am gone! I'm tired of getting false promises.

I agree I brought the most expensive package and have since been getting messages about needing further for protection etc and to upgrade is almost as much as the initial package. I won't be renewing with Norton, certainly hasn't given me peace of mind.

When I purchased Norton I was under the belief that I was well protected for everything. Then came the constant messages - "You are not supported for .... " Further purchases and additional sub-programs' to be installed - and it seems I'm still not protected! One could be excused for thinking this is false advertising. What I find exceptionally annoying is that, unlike Chrome (without Norton) - when I type in an exact address for a website, many "pretenders" appear well above the exact address that I typed in. Absolutely useless - bordering on dangerous as any of the listings above the one I'm searching for look like they are the genuine article but they are not and you can be well into an exercise with them before they state how much they will be charging you etc. Norton leads users to false sites. Despite the fact that I have the "Norton Safe Search" installed, I continue to receive messages from them stating that I don't. I am looking to end my relationship with Norton as soon as possible but know it will undoubtedly cost me more money to do so. Historically a trusted and well respected brand name, Norton is now to be avoided! Shame!
