Adds a padlock icon that allows toggling each tab's lock/unlocked state. When a locked tab is being closed, a confirmation dialog which allows preventing the tab from closing, is displayed.
📣 IMPORTANT: after locking, some interaction with the page is required for it to work. So you need to, for example, click anywhere on the page after locking to actually prevent the tab from being closed. This is how Chrome works.

1. Surely the whole idea is to prevent you from closing the tab without an extra effort (For example: having to unlock it). But you can just click it closed. Really?! 2. Why isn't the trigger on the CONTEXT MENU of the tab? Great idea but execution needs improvement.
I'm using Lock Tab in Edge. Maybe that's a problem (though it shouldn't be). Regardless, the extension doesn't work for me. Sometimes clicking the Lock icon toggles the icon from locked to unlocked to locked. Other times clicking the lock icon redirects me to the developers webpage with no explanation. Regardless of the state of the padlock icon, none of the tabs, including the pinned tabs which should lock automatically, actually lock. Waste of time.
Pretty perfect for exactly what I was looking for with no additional. superfluous functionality. There's _something odd_ about making the lock stick, but once it does, the feature works perfectly.

You have to reload your tabs first, and I downloaded this to lock a tab that I already had open. Other than that it works fine though.
not what I was looking for but for some reason its 3.5 stars when it does exactly what it says it will do.
No funciona. Igual me parece una función inútil pero es triste que ni para eso sirva jaja. Yo estaba buscando una función estilo Iphone que bloquee la app con clave de forma que si tengo abierto Amazon, nadie pueda hacer compras por mi sino que pida contraseña en esa pestaña
after reload the lock is gone, not useful
