This extension auto-detects RSS feeds on the page you are reading and upon finding one will display an RSS icon in the Omnibox, allowing you to click on it to preview the feed content and subscribe.
The extension comes with 2 feed readers predefined (Bloglines and My Yahoo) but also allows you to add any web-based feed reader of your choice to the list.

I don't want to read them in google reader, but to have RSS as a clickable dropdown menu in my favorites bar like in Firefox!
The little orange icon appeared for like 1 min and then it disappeared forever...
На некоторых сайтах, где указано более одной ссылки на rss всплывающее окно начинает дергаться и зависает, занимая до 80% CPU.
Works good. It should be standard build in functionality, even if Google thinks the trend is to use search functionality within rss-readers like Pulse to add feeds to it.
Didn't work won't let me subscribe to anything?
It's broken! Keeps flickering and eats up CPU when there are more than 1 feed in the page. Ending the process using Chrome's task manager crashes other plugins/extensions.
Great app. However, I can't see my registered feeds on the status bar..Once this is fixed, I will give 5*
When I uses Livedoor Reader, URL to subscribe be encoded so I can't subscribe it.
would be better if it could access feeddeom, as well.
Ver useful, bug buggy: this extension often eats >80% CPU, and the "balloon" that pops up when the RSS icon is clicked keeps jumping up and down...
