It’s the add-on for Google Chrome, it turns browser into what it has never been in it’s life: a browser that is no longer resource killer (and if you have ever used Google’s browser you know very well what I’m talking about, with the results on Windows or macOS). The Marvellous Suspender has everything you need to allow you to control the behavior of active / inactive tabs and thus free up RAM when possible, in a transparent way, you do the first configuration and then you forget it exists, what you can do is only that couple of clicks that will serve to manually suspend a tab that you have awakened by mistake by selecting it.
Fork of the original The Great Suspender, but without those modifications that go to invade user privacy. You can find the official repository at github.com/gioxx/MarvellousSuspender, feel free to participate if you have the skills to do that.

It closes the tabs without your permission, scam
OK I'm amazed and I'd like to give 5 stars really, but there are a few weaknesses: 1. It has no Window/Tab-Group/Directional(suspend-to-left/suspend-to-right) suspension support. You have to suspend tabs one by one when needing mass suspension. 2. It's not following Chrome's standards in Extension development (the green "Featured" label is missing) 3. I've forgotten the third one and this is itself result of multi-tasking. I'll edit later if I can remember.
Очень хорошее расширение. Выбрал его из остальных, поскольку видно, кто его автор. Плюсы: удобно, реально гасит лишнюю активность.
Useful performance extension with an active developer; can't ask for much more than that. My one wishlist item would be the option to have specific URLs suspend at their own designated pace.
Хватит уже обновлять, бесит закрывать вкладки.

This extension used to be great, and I’d love to give it 5 stars and keep using it. Unfortunately, with recent updates, I keep losing my tabs. I reached out on GitHub, and while I appreciate the developers’ efforts, it’s clear that new versions aren’t being tested thoroughly before release. I can’t rely on an extension that keeps losing my tabs.
本來這擴充功能值5星，不知道後來這是因為 Chrome 機制所以更新得使用者手動還怎的 (以前都自動不是？) 變得很惱人。尤其是點了更新關了一大堆分頁 (因為習慣與需要開一大堆分頁所以才需要這擴充功能) 結果還是一直提示：已經準備好更新。 ※最終解決這礙眼提示的方法：照擴充功能說的把紀錄導出 session.json，自行備份設定裡「白名單」與紀錄選項。然後移除「The Marvellous Suspender」再重裝，就沒有那礙眼的提示 (v8.1.0)了。後來 v8.1.1 提示更新後也沒有卡提示。 只是不知道是暫存還怎：在開雙視窗下 (深色主題)，一邊是凍結的分頁，操作另一邊分頁時偶爾會讓凍結的分頁出現白色閃爍、有時會彈更新/備份提示，切到別的分頁再切回來又正常了。
