📢 February 2026: Sorry, Chrome 145 has a bug that causes problems with tab group operations (collapse and modify title). This bug will be fixed in Chrome 146. This is a Chrome bug, not an extension bug. All browser extensions with similar functionality are affected.
In addition to general tab management functions, this extension specifically enhances the browser built-in "Tab Groups" feature.
Features:
● Automatically create group for tabs through custom matching rules.
● Save and restore current tabs or groups (snapshots).
● Opened tabs/groups management: activate, close, expand/collapse, move to other window, modify group name and color, new tab in group.

Suggestion: Command to Rename Groups
This extension was an absolute lifesaver for me when it came to research papers for my college classes. I'd have several topics to research within the paper, and several more tabs dedicated to each topic. The tab groups make it easier to see what I'm doing, especially since not only can you label each group, you can assign a color to a group. Highly recommend.

I love this extension but lately it has stopped working, and I can't figure out why. Tried reinstalling it to no avail. I don't know what to do as I've changed nothing to have this happen, what are my options here? Any help would be great.
This is an essential extension for my workflow. The ability to save and open tab groups allows me to use tab groups as workspaces for individual projects - I can launch a set, work, and then close them and move on the next workspace/project. Two feature requests: It would be amazing to be able to archive saved tabs groups. For example, one more navigation tab could added so it would be: Current Tabs | Saved Groups | Archived Groups | Group Rules | Shortcuts. The value here is that I don't want to lose tab groups when I've finished a project just in case I need that particular set of 5 - 25 tabs again or I need to find a few tabs from that group in the future. But I have so many saved tab groups that they get cluttered. Also, I would find it useful to either be able to manually sort order the tab groups or to have them sort most recently interacted with at the top (new saved group, opened group, updated saved group). I'm more likely to need a recently interacted with group and then the less frequently interacted with groups would automatically push down to the bottom. Thank you!!
nice and clean! some autogrouping features can be great but that is good enough
