This extension offers PDF.js as the default PDF viewer in Chrome. This is the official Chrome extension of the PDF.js project. Be careful of unrelated copycats.

This is brilliant, since Chromium doesn't have a PDF viewer (and this is better than Chrome's default anyway).
install it, and open .pdfs in the chrome browser... brainless. 5 stars.
Fails to load.
Great this now became a Chromium extension. Works really good for being a JavaScript application.
crash sometimes (for heavier files) but in many ways more comfortable and powerful than some pdf readers from Acro***, for example, Thanks to the team ça crash pour les très gros fichiers mais c'est bien plus perfomants que certains lecteurs pdf de plusiers centaines de Mo de chez A*****t, par exemple merci à la team
I'm on a Samsung Series 3 trying to view a large textbook. Looks and works great for about 10 seconds and then crashes. Tried restarting my system and it did it again. Waited to see how it would work when the page refreshed and it crashed again in about the same amount of time.
This is the only good PDF Viewer on Chrome. Lets you access online or LOCAL pdf viewers and has chapter and preview sidebar. It is a little laggy and the SEARCH BAR DOES NOT WORK AT ALL NOT EVEN CLOSE TO WHAT YOU TYPE IN. Hopefully will be updated in future. Other then that this is your only option.
Copy/paste puts in random characters that are only view able in editors that support that encoding. Doesn't open local files at all (had to save a bookmark when it was errored and blank so I could open the file manually, but now that button was removed) and doesn't open web links. It isn't even recognized as an app that opens pdf, so the google drive "Open With" doesn't have it listed. Otherwise it's a great app.
Love the fact that it presented the on side tiles.
It is a neat chrome extension, but reading pdf files with math in it gets hard because this reader does not display mathematical formulas correctly.
